Transit Stop
a win-win for commuters and Arista

In conjunction with the new 120th Avenue connection, an RTD transit stop is currently under construction at Arista, due to the 120th Avenue connection being aligned through the middle of the existing Wadsworth park-n-Ride facility. Insofar as the parking field and bus facilities will be eliminated, RTD is constructing its new bus turnaround facility in the core of the Arista development immediately southeast of the Parkade and office building.  Commuters will be able to park in the Parkade and board a bus to get to their ultimate destination of Denver, Boulder, DIA, etc. This will provide significant efficiencies for the RTD bus operations since they will be able to access the new park-n-Ride at Arista via the dedicated slip ramps and just as efficiently, return to the highway.

As part of the bus facility, RTD will construct a pedestrian bridge over US36 and bus-only “slip ramps” to serve both sides of the US36 corridor.

A New, Easy Way to Commute
Imagine...you can drive to the bus stop, grab a cup of joe, a pastry, and the morning newspaper.  After work you can stop at the bank, pick up the laundry and grab a pizza before heading home....oh, the ease of it all!
