Ground breaking marks continued positive momentum of the mixed-use, transit-oriented development
Broomfield, CO (April 2008) – The developers of Arista, Broomfield’s new mixed-use, transit oriented development, are pleased to announce the groundbreaking of the new aloft Hotel at Arista, a much-anticipated new lifestyle brand. The 140-room, boutique hotel creates an urban-inspired, loft-like guest room setting new to the US-36 corridor that will further enhance the character of the Arista. The groundbreaking took place earlier this month, and the hotel is scheduled to open March, 2009. The aloft Hotel will be operated by Stonebridge and is now under construction by Saunders Construction.

Each aloft room is also a combination high-tech office and entertainment center, featuring wireless internet access and plug & play (a one-stop connectivity solution for electronic gadgetry) linked to a large flat panel HDTV-ready television for optimal sound and viewing.

The aloft stays true to the W Hotel brand’s heritage, offering atmospheric public spaces designed to draw guests from their rooms to socialize and make friends. Guests can read the paper, work on their laptops via hotel-wide wireless internet access, play a game of pool or grab a drink with friends at the re:mix communal lobby area and bar w xyz. The re:charge fitness center and splash, the pool, gives travelers options to de-stress and re-energize; while re:fuel by aloft, a one-stop food and beverage area, offers sweet, savory and healthy food, snacks and beverages to grab & go, 24-hours a day.
The Hotel has approximately 11,000 square feet of main street retail space, which includes a 5,000 sq. ft. high-end steakhouse. The balance is designed for a 4,000 sq. ft. spa/salon, and a 2,000 sq. ft. upscale corner wine bar.
