ABOUT PROTO'S

Proto's first opened in 1999 when Pam Proto finally decided that in order to get true Neapolitan Pizza in Colorado, she would have to do it herself. Just before the first Proto's opened in Longmont, Colorado, she partnered with Rayme Rossello, and they opened the doors. It was an overnight success. Apparently, others in Colorado were waiting for good Za' as well. Pizza lovers drove to the Longmont store from distant towns like Loveland, Parker, and Estes Park.

The critical acclaim from Rocky Mountain News, The Denver Post, 5280 magazine, Daily Camera, Boulder Weekly, and BON APPETIT magazine they have received in their short history is well deserved.
